Our Story
For 25 years, we explored the world, drawn to the beauty of travel and human connection. Morocco captured our hearts in 1990, offering tranquility and warmth, and in 2004, a chance encounter in N’Kob led us to Kasbah Ait Omar. The adobe house, owned by three women in transition, felt like fate calling. With a simple, traditional agreement, we became its caretakers in 2005, embracing its history and charm. As we uncovered its hidden past, we reunited the divided Kasbah, welcoming nomadic owners from the Sahara to complete the story. By 2007, our dream of restoring and sharing this timeless place was set in motion, bridging our lives between Morocco and Germany, shaping a future deeply rooted in tradition and discovery.

Our Philosophy
The diversity of culture and traditions of the Tamazight (Berber) in south-east Morocco has inspired us for more than 20 years. We want our guest to have the same experience. We Invite you to immerse yourselves in the fascinating world of the Orient and to share the natural vitality and zest of life for the Ait Atta tribe.
Our kasbah AIt Omar is a place to recover your strength, it is a source of inspiration and positive energy. Peace and beauty are like balsam on your soul. The combination of the traditional and the modern, minimalisation with elegance, simplicity with the maximum comfort possible, all recreate an atmosphere of outstanding quality. The adobe walls radiate warmth and comfort, allowing our guests to quickly appreciate the excellent ambience of this hotel.

Every guest will find his/her wellness oasis in the Kasbah Hotel Ait Omar. Memorable experiences and impressions, which little by little reconcile body and spirit. This could be by doing yoga in the morning in our beautiful yoga room, enjoying the relaxing and cleansing atmosphere of our traditional hammam, relaxing at the pool or going for a vitalizing work-out in our in-house fitness room.
Enjoy Your Food Like An Omar
Our local cooks will spoil you, not just with traditional but also with modern dishes and beverages prepared according to south-eastern Moroccan traditions. European cuisine is also served and we are specialists in vegetarian cuisine.
We attach great importance to fresh, regional and seasonal food products and avoid using ready-made products. Our bread is baked in a traditional clay oven; we make our own jams, yoghurt and cream cheese. Enjoy the culinary delights in our restaurant and café. Soon you will be able to enjoy our small milk bar where we will serve freshly-pressed juices and milkshakes.

We look forward to welcoming you as our guests in Kasbah Hotel Ait Omar n the south-east of Morocco, between Drâa Valey and Dades Valley on the Road of the Kasbahs. The Kasbah sits on a slope on the outskirts of the old village centre of N'Kob Oasis where you can admire another 44 historical Kasbahs.
